Ohio

Two weeks ago went out to visit Aaron's family in Ohio. We had such a wonderful time! We hung out and watched Max walk and play, ate great food, and visited Auntie Em's school, Morehead University, in Kentucky. Max became friends with Grandma and Grandpa's cats, or the "tigers" as we called them! :) It was a really fun trip. I only got a few photos because I forgot my charger for my camera and my battery died. Here are a couple shots of the plane trip out, family and what Max did in lieu of sitting on the Easter Bunnies lap. He took one look at him and we knew it would be a disaster!

Updates

It's been a while since I've posted anything, but it's also been a busy couple of weeks. We moved out of our place, went to Ohio, and all got the flu (I got it the worst, and when mommy is sick, no one is happy)! We are finally getting back to our normal routine. We are living with my parents because our lease was up but we are still waiting to find out if Aaron will get into the CHP Academy class starting at the end of April. He has his final test this Thursday morning. If he does get in this month, he will live in Sacramento, 3 hours away from Fresno, for 6 months, so Max and I will stay with my parents. Next week we also are going in for an ultrasound and will hopefully get to find out if we are having a boy or a girl, so stay tuned!! Here are a couple of photos taken before our trip. I will post a seperate posting of our visit to Ohio next! And I almost forgot, Max is walking now!! It happened fast and he loves the freedom!

Better Hope I Have A Girl!

Thanks to everyone for voting!! It was fun to see the results! Hope no one is disappointed if I end up having a boy! :) I should have an ultrasound in the middle of April....so stay tuned!!!!

Wonderful California Weather

We have really been enjoying some gorgeous 70 degree days out here in Fresno California! Max LOVES to be outside, and I love it because it wears him out!

We had a fun Friday night at the park with everyone! Max ate everything in sight, including dirt! He was one filthy kid when we left but he was in heaven!

The other day I started feeling sick so I had to stop and eat a sandwhich and sit for 20 minutes. When I got up from the table and turned around, this is what my kitchen looked like...Max wasn't there because he'd already moved on to the family room! With the next baby, I'm really not going to encourage the whole crawling and walking thing!

Helping in the Kitchen

Max is such a busy boy that we have had to put up several gates to keep him out of restricted areas...one of those areas being the kitchen! He loves everything about the kitchen! At Grandma McLelland's house he has a favorite cupboard that ceramic mugs are kept in, and if he gets to it before we catch him, he just pulls one out, looks at it, and then tosses it over his shoulder shattering it. This has happened several times, so now all Grandma's cupboards have locks on them. Sometimes I get feeling a little generous and put the gate down and allow him into the kitchen while I cook dinner. We have really deep cupboards, and well, basically they have become like tunnels to Max, after he pulls everything out first. The first time it happened I heard him crying but panicked when I couldn't see him, then realized the sounds was coming from deep inside the cupboard. See below (after I rescued him and he started finding his way out)!

A Day At The Zoo!

Today we went to the Zoo! It was Max and Aaron's first time at the Fresno Zoo. For those who know me, you know I am not a fan of animals, and especially zoo's, but I go because I love Aaron! :) I look at them and I just want to bath them all and freshen them up!! When my cousin Taylor asked me today what my favorite kind of animal was, my response was "stuffed"! I have to admit, some of them are kind of cute....but all I can think about is jumping in the cages and giving them a good scrub, trim and spritz of fruity body spray!! It was fun though! It was a gorgeous day and not to smelly!
