Update on Max

Max LOVES his Daddy!!
One of his favorite things to do is crawl through our chairs.

Here is a video of Max crawling through the chairs. Just so no one thinks I am neglecting him...everytime I try and help him through the chairs he gets mad and goes right back to where he was when he got stuck. It's so funny! He cries when he's frustrated, but he always finds a way to get "unstuck"!

Climbing the Stairs

This is Max's new favorite thing to do...climbing the stairs. He does it all day long...and cries a lot when he is frustrated. He has mastered the first step for the most part and is working on the second. This video shows a little of that and some of his favorite sounds to make...I wanted to post this so Grandma Keough can hear him talk since he will never talk on the phone when we call her! :)

Pop's Visit

Pop (-that's Aaron's grandpa and Max's great-grandpa) came out from West Virginia to visit us this week. We had a lot of fun and Max warmed up to him real fast! Here are a few shots from his visit!

Getting Pictures Taken

Last week I took Max to get his 6 month old pictures taken. Getting pictures taken is a very nerve raking experience for me. For one, I worry about getting a good one, and also, because I am not strong enough to say "no" to the photographer. This last time the photographer insisted on me stripping him down and putting a Santa hat on him, which is nothing I would usually not do. She of course got her way because I am a wimp, and although I didn't buy any of them, they are pretty cute....I guess nothing say "Merry Christmas" like your half dressed chubby baby in a snow globe! :) I also didn't want myself in any pictures, but again, you will see she got her way! Luckily she did get a few of the poses I wanted in traditional settings.

Finding New Ways to Play...

Some days Max gets pretty bored of the toys we have, so I have to come up with something else to entertain him and detain him! :) This one lasted a pretty long time the other day.

Marley Rose, Puppies and Swings!

We recently went up to Sacramento for the blessing of Marley Rose. I call this photo "Beauty and the Beast". :) Marley was so adorable in her blessing dress!! Congrats Mel and Chris!

Max LOVES this puppy also. He sits and watches TV with him. I've taken pictures the last couple of times...too cute! He likes to put his arm around his puppy while he sits with him too! :)

Halloween is OVER!!! Hooray! :)

So...it wasn't that bad this year. Having someone to dress up makes Halloween more enjoyable, but I'm still glad it's over and we can get on to the good holidays! Here are some pictures of Max and all the cousins last night before trick-or-treating, and our family outing on Saturday to the pumpkin patch and Sonic.

How Max Passes the Time

Max went in for his 6 month check up yesterday and he now weighs 21.5 pounds and is eating table foods! Geez! He's not a fan of Macaroni yet, but I know he will be one day. Here are a few example of what Max does to entertain himself each day...

The terrrible trip to Utah

We just went to Utah and had a horrible weekend, minus a few laughs and seeing a couple of friends. Most of our plans went out the window though, especially our plan to connect with some friends in the provo area because the first night our car was broken into and A TON of stuff was stolen, mainly most of Megan's things. From then on, everything that could go wrong, went wrong...from big things to small things. We kept our spirits up though and had some good laughs, and some good comfort food. But I was so anxious to leave and get home!!! I guess I will give it another chance though...I have always loved Salt Lake! Max was a champ though, and it was such a blessing that he was so good throughout everything! He loved meeting Desi and seeing Ashley again, and we will have to come out again sometime to meet the friends we missed.
