My Big Boy

Well Max did it...he gave up the "baa" (pacifier). He has only asked for it a few times, but when I remind him that we threw them away, he gets over it. We had a ceremony where I cut off the tip pf the pacifiers in front of him, he tried to suck on them and realized they were broken and then I told him to throw them away. He loves to throw stuff away and take the trash to the dumpster. So he then carried the bag to the dumpster. Next, we are working on sleeping through the night!! If anyone has tips on keeping a 2 year old in bed, please share!!

Since the last posting was dedicated to Sadie, this one will be just some pictures of Max. I do have more photos to put up of all of us and will put those up later this week. I can't believe this little guy is going to be 2 next month!

He loves to listen to an ipod.

We went to Pump It Up one day for their free toddler play..which actually isn't free. It was worth it though! Max bounced for an hour and half on inflatable toys and then took a 2 hour nap! :) We had fun...I had to play with him. It was exhausting!

We let him eat some icecream out of the container one night, and he thought it was the best thing ever!

That's one way to fatten a kid up ... haha, just kidding. Looks like fun. I don't have any more advice on sleeping through the night, so good luck with that one.

What a cutie pie! I dread the day that I have to take the pacifier away from Lily. I hope it's as easy for her as it has been for Max!

a cookie monster and a ice cream monster!! next time, it better be broccoli and carrots! oh, well, but then it would just be a picture of mom picking up off the floor! (atleast we'd get to see a picture of souer!:) ) 2 wonderful children, growing and growing ... max T is becoming a big boy and at first i thought you were still covering up his butch, but he's looking as sharp as a tac. a big boy!!

2 years old!! (how old do you have to be to meet all your grandpas?)

someday, you may wish he still came to your bed ... someday! someday it may be more than that! enjoy him while you can. he'll stay in bed when the times right! i remember a day, when i thought as "a parent" i had a responsibility "to teach" to stay in bed. i've had plenty of years to wish i'd just have held that child in my arms until she was asleep and put her in bed when i was (darn), good and ready. you may think it will never end, but then you are faced with a lifetime wishing it would have never ended!
